    The Hive SF is looking for a professional front desk person to provide our clients with an outstanding customer experience and support. As the “face” of the studio, this role is extremely important as we strive to create an environment for our clients that is welcoming, comfortable, inclusive, and a fun place to be.

    The range of duties in this position include:

    • Being the “face” of the studio. Greeting, checking in, and assisting all visitors, providing them with great customer service.

    • Answering the phone, redirecting calls when necessary

    • Replying to emails, forwarding them when necessary

    • Helping clients in the studio with any questions, complaints or requests they may have

    • Accepting mail and packages for the studio, and distributing or storing them as appropriate

    • General upkeep of the cleanliness and orderliness of the studio, including the bathrooms and equipment (mats, floors, taking out the trash, etc.)

    • Opening or closing duty when necessary

    The ideal candidate has the following characteristics:

    • Friendly, outgoing, and warm in personality. A customer-oriented mindset.

    • Superb verbal and written communication skills

    • Ability to de-escalate challenging situations and remain calm under pressure

    • Knowledge in using the MindBody system, or the ability to learn it

    • A team player

    • Detail-oriented, multi-tasker

    • 1- 2 years experience working in a customer service role, especially in a gym setting

    • Experience working in an environment with children

    • High school diploma or equivalent
