Thursdays 11:00-12:00

Cost: $25 for a single class or $180 for 8-class pack (expires in 60 days). 

Drop in only (no advance registration). Pay by venmo or cash in person. 

About Uriel Arauz

Uriel is a passionate capoeirista with a deep-rooted commitment to preserving and sharing the vibrant Afro-Brazilian art of capoeira. With over 25 years of training in the movement, music, and tradition, Uriel brings a dynamic blend of martial arts , music, body movement, flexibility and fitness into his class. 

Uriel has taught students across diverse communities, blending technical instruction with cultural context and music. Whether in a homeschool co-op, charter school program, or community workshop, Uriel’s teaching style emphasizes rhythm, respect, and resilience—inviting students to find their voice through movement and song. He currently leads capoeira classes at Sitio Alegre Capoeira in Walnut Creek.
